William F. Faber was born at Buffalo, New York on February 27, 1860. He attended public schools in Buffalo and graduated from the University of Rochester in 1880. He attended Auburn Theological Seminary from 1880-1883 and was ordained a Presbyterian minister in 1883. He was the pastor of the First Presbyterian Church in Westfield, N. Y. from 1883-1892. He entered the Episcopal Church in 1892 and served congregations in Geneva and Lockport, N. Y. before being appointed rector of St. John's Church...
